Intel 82865G y resolución
Volver al foro (Usando Guadalinex 2004)-
Hola, en la instalación de un 2004 me da el problema de la resolución. tengo 800x600 y menos pero no puedo ponerla mayor. La tarjeta gráfica es la que os indico, he buscado en intel pero los drivers son para Suse y RH, puedo utilizar estos? Lo curioso es que este equipo tenia antes la EDU y la resolución era mayor ????

Gracias por la respuesta, he bajado lo que indicas y lo he instalado, pero al arrancar todo sigue igual. Seguro que tengo que hacer algo más.......

Si por favor, date cuenta que los drivers ya los tienes instalados, ahora es momento hay de decirle que tarjeta tienes que utilizar, acuerdate de una vez cambiado reiniciar el equipo o simplemente las xwindows.http://rsm.no-ip.com

Mil gracias, seria mucho pedir que me indicaras que has cambiado, de todos modos cuando pueda imprimir los dos ficheros (antiguo y el que me pasas) vere algo supongo.
Otra preguntita para terminar, hemos mirado en el config y en el config-4 ¿cual es la diferencia?.

Jajajaja, de nada majete, bueno la diferencia esta en segun la distribución hay quien utiliza el config-4 es nuestro caso y hay otras que utilizan el config, yo al principio me lie por que te dije para mira en el config, pero es que con la mezcla de distribuciones que tengo en la cabeza no me estraña.
Por otro lado lo mejor es que imprimas la configuración del viejo y del nuevo y ya veras como tu mismo te das cuenta donde esta la diferencia.

Marillion, necesito ayuda con la resolución, a ver si tu que controlas me la resuelves. Quiero ponerle un poco más de resolución al escritorio (al sistema vamos) actualmente lo tengo a 1024x768, y quisiera ponerle en 1152x864 o un poco más (con 1152x864 sreía perfecto). He cambiado mi archivo XF86Config-4 por el que has pegado en los post anteriores pero no me va, al iniciar las X me aparece a una resolución que según una captura que hago del escritorio es de 1152x864. El problema es que se ve deformado horizontalmente, un poco estrecho, con dos bandas negras como las pelis de 16:9 pero verticales. Si voy a la aplicación del menú para cambiar la resolución me aparece esa misma y todas las menores, pero no la de 1280x1024 (más que nada para probar si a esa resolución se deforma o no), pero no aparece, como máximo me aparece la de 1152x864 que estaría bien para mí si no fuera por la deformación que te comento.
Te pongo aquí mi XF86Config-4 original a ver si pudieras decirme que cambio para, como digo, tener una resolución de 1152x864 sin deformaciones o en su defecto 1280x1024.

Hola Lamash, la idea de la guia hace tiempo se me paso por la cabeza y la verdad es que estoy en ello desde hace un par de semanas en mis ratos libres, espero tenerla terminada en una semana cuando asi sea os lo comunicare y dire donde bajarla.

Pues más de uno te lo agradeceríamos seguro. He pegado el trozo del XF86Config-4 que me diste y nada, ni haciendo ctrl+Alt+[+] consigo que aumente la resolución a màs de 1024x768, ni tampoco me aparece mayores resoluciones haciendlo desde el panel de control con la aplicación resolución de pantalla o algo de eso.
Bueno, me esperaré a que tengas la guía y me la estudiaré a ver donde está el error.
